Design Democracy Poll: Nominate Your Favorite SF Building
Author:Lindsey ShookSan Francisco has a love/hate relationships with its public buildings. We hated the Transamerica Pyramid when it was being built, and now we can’t imagine our city without it. We bemoan erecting taller and taller buildings, but 555 California Street (the second tallest in the city) is a proclaimed favorite. It seems, as with most things in San Francisco, a consensus on beloved architecture is hard to come by.
Are you a fan or foe of the federal building by Morphosis?
But that doesn’t mean we won’t try. For our next Design Democracy Poll we want to know: what is your favorite SF building? Nominate in the comment section below until Tuesday, April 5. Then readers will vote on the nominees to declare a winner.
