Estate Sale: Remains of the Day in Sonoma
Author:Lindsey ShookWhen Susan Gardner called me about this estate sale she couldn’t stop gushing about it. It has all the things you like to see in estate sale clients: the couple liked to entertain, they enjoyed traveling and one of them worked as an interior designer. For people who go to these events, that’s another way of saying “good stuff found here.”
This kind of sale has something for everyone, including McGuire chairs and Asian statues.
The kitchen, in Gardner’s words, is loaded: quality pots and pans, wine accessories (one of the owners was a serious wine collector) and serving pieces.
Apparently, the owners were movie buffs as well, because there are tons of DVDs. Maybe not so relevant these days, but I do like the vintage movie posters.

The sale is located at 17094 Park Ave., Fetters Hot Springs (just outside of the city of Sonoma). It runs today through Sunday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Happy hunting!
