A Plywood Bicycle: Yes, It Actually Works

Author:

The Bonobo is a bicycle with a bent plywood frame designed by Polish designer Stanislaw Ploski. It turns out that when properly manipulated, plywood can be fashioned into a pretty solid bike frame: it’s light, strong and absorbs vibrations well. The Bonobo, which debuted at the DMY Berlin 2011, has a single gear drivetrain and hydraulic disc brakes.

Still just a concept, there is no word yet on future production efforts.
