Botany and Bluegrass Event at the General Store
Author:Stephanie OrmaCalling all green thumbers and bluegrass fans: Get down to your roots at SF’s General Store on Saturday, September 10th for “Botany and Bluegrass” – an afternoon of terrarium making and banjo tunes. Featuring two build-your-own terrarium workshops (1 p.m. and 3 p.m.) taught by Katie Goldman of the Botany Factory, this is not your garden-variety event. You’ll get down and dirty learning the art of petite plant design and composing covetable creations inside organic, hand-blown glass shapes.
Tickets are $50 so snag a spot by emailing sunsetgeneralstore@gmail.com. In between sessions, Robbie MacDonald & Friends jam bluegrass sounds in the summery garden from 2-3 p.m. and 4-5 p.m. It’s free and open to the music lovin’ public. Trust me, you’ll dig this.
