Historic Brentwood Estate Revamp

Author:

As one of the original estates in the luxe L.A. neighborhood of Brentwood, Southern California-based architect Lewin Wertheimer and New York-based interior designer Victoria Hagan were tapped to restore this 1920s-30s beaut. Although its bones were solid, the original abode was poorly built and required a complete revamp from head to toe. Reconfiguring the floor plans, Wertheimer added new bathrooms, kitchens, cabinetry, doors, windows, a roof, drool-worthy pool, and other interior finishes. Plus, the original carriage house was converted to a pool house complete with a gym, office, sitting room and kitchen. And the results – amazing.
