Don’t Miss This! Ani Kasten at Heath LA
Author:Lindsey ShookIf you haven’t had a chance to see ceramic artist Ani Kasten’s show at Heath Ceramics Los Angeles, get going! The show closes this Sunday, Oct. 16 and is her only show in LA this year.
In this show–entitled “Rough Hewn”–Kasten manages to created ceramic art that looks and feels both modern and ancient at once. Heath Ceramics has hosted the works of several artists we admire, ranging from Akio Nukaga to Roger Herman. All of these artists create works that are simple, functional and beautiful, the same characteristics which we have come to expect from Heath Ceramics.
Frankly, we love any excuse to visit Heath LA, and we can’t think of any better reason than this show.
