Don’t Miss This! Pacific Standard Time Santa Monica/Westside Focus Weekend
Author:Lindsey ShookLooking for an idea for what to do this weekend? For those of you based in LA, look no further. This weekend, the Santa Monica Museum of Art will lead the first regional weekend of Pacific Standard Time: Art in LA 1945-1980. The three day event is a collaboration of museums and galleries in the Santa Monica/Westside area to celebrate and showcase the neighborhood’s contributions to arts in California.
From 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. on Saturday, free public shuttles will take visitors from one destination to the next, including the Santa Monica Musem of Art, galleries in Bergamot Station Arts Center, the San Francis Gallery at Grossroads Scool, the 18th Street Arts Center, the Ben Maltz Galler at OTIS College for Art and Design, and the Getty Center (which is also hosting another event–the Pacific Standard Time Family Festival–this weekend).
Not enough? There is also the Pacific Standard Time Santa Monica/Westside Bike Tour from 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. (just remember that registration is required for that one!).
