Pop Icons Hits the Monterey Museum of Art

This weekend, the Monterey Museum of Art opens their latest exhibit “Pop Icons: Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein.”

The museum carefuly selected an impressive collection of large-scale works on paper from the 1960s and 1970s. The show also includes works by Red Grooms, Robert Rauschenberg, James Rosenquist and Allen D’ Arcangelo. The exhibit is a must-see for fans of pop art and runs from Oct. 29-Feb. 26.

The museum is also hosting an opening preview celebration this Friday, Oct. 28 from 6-9 p.m. Reservations are suggested and “Pop Icon” attire encouraged.
