Product Porch, the 6-month experimental retail collaboration between Specific Merchandise and Vitrine at the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego (MCASD), is partnering with Halcyon Tea, an independent tea shop in South Park for an afternoon of delicious specialty teas, pastries, excellent art, and design.

Brooks Hudson Thomas and Blaire Dessent, the retail visionaries behind Product Porch – currently on view at the MCASD museum shop in the Downtown MCASD location – will present an overview of the shop and share insights about the artists and designers the retail experiment brings together.

Mingle and shop from 4 pm to 6 pm at MCASD, Jacobs Building – guests enjoy a 15% discount on all items in the store. This event falls on a Free Third Thursday, where Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego admission to see Phenomenal is free from 5-7 PM. Those planning to come early to view the exhibit should mention they’re attending the High Tea & Design event to receive free admission before 5 PM.

 

Product Porch is open throughout the run of the exhibition Phenomenal, which will be on view through January 22, 2012.
