Trina Turk Dishes on the Inspiration Behind her Spring 2012 CollectionAuthor:Lindsey Shook
Next week our Executive Editor is getting the chance to sit down and interview the dazzling designer Trina Turk for the 2012 Design San Francisco Keynote (there is still time to RSVP to attend!). Recently, we got the chance to talk briefly with Trina, who shared with us the inspiration behind her fabulous Spring 2012 collection and suggested some fun picks from her residential line for getting the look at home!
“The Spring 1 collection, ‘Country Club Coquette,’ is inspired by the suburban ladies of the 60s. In this delivery we envision our lady-like muse at a Tupperware party or a day at the Country Club, lunching with friends. She is feminine and loves prints, bright colors and is a little preppy with just the right amount of quirk,” says Trina.
We adore the bright colors and sunny attitude in the clothes! Bring the look home with one of these fun finds!
Plus, don’t miss the hotly anticipated 2012 Design San Francisco Keynote with Trina and our own Erin Feher, next Wednesday, Feb. 1 at 10 a.m. at the SFDC Galleria.
