Estate Sale: House-full in Berkeley

Author:

Packed is a word that’s held dear in the heart of an estate sale junkie. And that’s what this Berkeley estate sale promises to be: packed to the rafters.

Here’s a partial list of what’s available: fine and costume jewelry, china, glassware, furniture and (best of all) a ping-pong table!

But if you look at the photos (which are admittedly cluttered) you see a whole lot more. I’m into the rustic baskets, old-school corkscrew and vintage puppets on the table below.

Check out the vintage green trunk in this photo. It’s in great original condition.

There’s a lot of good kitchen ware—including the glass bins seen here.

And I’ve being seeing designers frame vintage board games for playrooms—and some amazing collages created from old game pieces. If you feel like getting your DIY on this long weekend, here are your materials.

Speaking of projects, it seemed almost spring-like this morning, so if you want to get outside, there are a lot of potted plants that are looking for a new home on your patio.

The sale runs Saturday and Sunday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., at 1705 Delaware St. in Berkeley.
