Sneak Peek: San Francisco Decorator Showcase

Author:

It’s that time of year ago again, when the immense talents of SF’s best interior designers make us drool with envy. The 2012 Decorator Showcase is located in a classic revival mansion at 2020 Jackson Street in SF’s Pacific Heights neighborhood.

Rooms from stalwarts of SF design such as Matt Murphy and Geoffrey De Sousa grace the home, which is open to the public from April 28 through May 28.

Spaces by fresh talents like Catherine Kwong and Allison Bloom, whose modern butler’s (pictured above) pantry caught our eye, are also on display.

With its sofa that seats up to 10 people, the media room designed by Amy Weaver was a happening hangout during press preview day.

The seating area of the guest bedroom designed by Matt Murphy may encourage guest to stay long past their welcome.

The collector’s library designed by Jonathan Rachman was a feast for the eyes with numerous curiosities collected from all over the globe and time.
