Last Chance! Catch the “Outfitters” Exhibit at Walnut Creek’s Bedford GalleryAuthor:Lindsey Shook
If there is one thing that Bedford Gallery’s latest show proves, it is that the line between art and fashion is nonexistent.
From a room-size sculpture of a robe to a girl’s dress created out of an old map (Baltazar et Anecdote by Elisabeth Lecourt, below), this exhibition, “Outfitters: The Contemporary Art of Clothing,” offers a new definition of haute couture.
The exhibition features works from nearly 20 artists, all of whom explore the relationship between what we wear and who we are.
Through May 13, 1601 Civic Dr., Walnut Creek, bedfordgallery.org.
