If you’re a fan of the rustic-yet-sophisticated wares of the Bay Area-based Harvest shops, then you won’t want to miss this. Tonight the furniture and home decor mecca is opening its third location in San Carlos and, of course, having a party to celebrate!

Delight in a sumptuous feast of new takes on time-worn treasures. Springing up from the flower-lined streets of downtown San Carlos, the new Harvest storefront, framed inside by reclaimed wood beams, boasts an intoxicating mix of artifacts and vintage pieces together with refined reproductions.

Crediting his head designer Jaye Parsons for the grace and flow of this boutique’s distinctly California style, owner Karsten Iwers dubs this “unpretentious easy living.” Whether discoveries from a Czech attic or armoires crafted from reclaimed Indian teak, tin-framed calendar prints or French postage-stamp throw pillows, Iwers brings new life to the patina of the past.

And Iwers’s Harvest shops take this approach one step further, by offering a line of reclaimed wood furnishings and custom upholstery. So whether you opt for a raw cotton wreath or an eighteenth-century coffee grinder, you’ll remain unabashedly original.
