There have been a bevy of incredible art, design and architecture events lately, and this is another you won’t want to skip. The 34th Annual Venice Art Walk & Auctions returns Saturday and Sunday, May 19-20.

A two-day celebration of community, creativity and care, the Venice Art Walk & Auction helps support the Venice Family Clinic. The event has roots way back in 1979, when Venice-based artists came together to benefit the nation’s largest free clinic. A selection of art studios and architecturally significant homes are among the scheduled art and architecture events.

This year, taking center stage, is the Silent Art Auction and Community Celebration hosted by Google. The Google Los Angeles campus will open up its doors and invite bidders and tour goers into the the legendary “Binoculars Building,” designed by Frank Gehry. Registration for the auction takes place at the Westminster School, beginning at 11 a.m. on Sunday. After registering, hop on a complimentary shuttle for a jaunt over to the Google offices where participants will be able to bid on original sculptures, photography and paintings from 12 – 6 p.m., with an after auction party raging until 7:30. The event will also feature a host of tasty food trucks, interactive activities, and jams from top DJs.

One-hundred percent of all Venice Art Walk & Auctions proceeds support Venice Family Clinic’s mission of providing free, quality health care to people in need through nine sites in and around Los Angeles County.
