Dining Design Diary: Go Inside Orange County’s Cucina Enoteca
Author:Lindsey ShookAt Cucina Enoteca, the recently-opened eatery in Irvine, the parsnip-and-squash ravioli isn’t the only big seller. Guests frequently order the whimsical pendants, sackcloth-upholstered chairs and dining tables with turned wood legs.
At the latest restaurant from San Diego’s Tracy Borkum (Cucina Urbana), everything is for sale, from the dishes to the cutting boards to the sinks.
A special menu offers all the featured items, most by local designers, which can be delivered in about six weeks. The orange-hued Bend chairs come courtesy of designer Gaurav Nanda and can be scooped up for $425 each. The pendant lights come courtesy of Del Mar-based Jennifer Price and start at $190.
