The Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego’s 8th Biennial Art Auction may be your chance to get your hands on artworks donated by internationally recognized artists and emerging contemporary artists.
The 2012 ART AUCTION takes place at the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego (MCASD), La Jolla next Wednesday, May 30. Featuring works by Ai Weiwei, Ed Ruscha, Christo, Jennifer Steinkamp, and many more, the biennial auction is shaping one of the best opportunities to collect modern and contemporary art in Southern California this year. Festivities begin at 6:30 p.m., with tickets starting at $75 for members and $100 for non-members. All proceeds raised will support MCASD’s art acquisitions, exhibitions, and education programs. 700 Prospect Street, La Jolla.
