Courtney Cerruti’s Wild Child at Paxton Gate’s Curiosities for Kids
July 4 through August 14
Artist Courtney Cerruti’s latest exhibit, Wild Child, is aimed at the 6-year-old in all of us. Using everyday objects, Cerruti explores “the intersection of the sweet and wild in childhood.” A former display coordinator for Anthropologie’s famed windows and in-store installations, Cerruti is known for her mixed-medium pieces. Her one-of-a-kind works evoke a bit of nostalgia and are worth a trip to Paxton Gate’s Valencia Street shop. July 4- August 14; opening reception will be held on July 6 at 6 p.m.; 766 Valencia St., SF.

SF Chefs
July 30 through August 5
The famed SF Chefs is back in full force this year. The highly-anticipated festival is a celebration of the best food, wine and spirits from around the city. The annual festival kicks off at the end of the month and features more than 200 of the SF’s top restaurants, bars, wineries, breweries and distilleries. Union Square will be home to the main taste tent area, but throughout the festival a variety of venues will open their doors to a plethora of food connoisseurs toenjoy the delectable cuisines that Northern California has to offer. July 30 – August 5; ticket prices vary by event.

MEDIATE Soundwave Festival
July 5 through September 30
The mind is a terrible thing to waste. Beginning this month, check out MEDIATE Art Group’s Soundwave Festival, exploring how the mind interprets sound—all while entertaining guests with live musical talent and “sound intallations.” Each year, this festival explores different perspectives on sound that spans across two months and various venues in the city. For the remainder of the summer you can check out a different showcase and hear wonderful live performances. The festivities kick off with a fun-filled launching party at Golden Gate Park’s California Academy of Sciences. July 5 – Sept. 30; tickets vary by event.
A Vintage Pop-Up Shop

Are you a die-hard vintage collector? We’ve got the event for you. The Golden Collective is proud to present A Vintage Pop-Up. This store will feature a slew of vintage threads ranging from the 20s through the late 90s. Brightly hued coats from the 80s, delicate kitten heels from the 50s and grungy tees from the 90s are bound to make an appearance so we suggest you make your way over before all the racks go bare.
