The Del Marcos Hotel, designed in 1947 by William Cody, has been resurrected by a midcentury purist.


Owner Lars Viklund recently rehabbed the 17-room resort, returning it to its former glory with authentic furnishings and accessories from the era that put Palm Springs on the map.

The adults-only hotel sits just a block from downtown Palm Springs and surrounded by the breathtaking San Jacinto Mountains. The property is just a short jaunt away from the best dining, shopping, and, for those outdoor adventurers, hiking.
