Snyder Diamond: LA’s Iconic Kitchen & Bath Showroom
Author:Lindsey ShookSnyder Diamond Kitchen and Bath, family owned and operated since 1949, has seen Los Angeles and the entire design community through decades of history and evolution.
Taking only a few years to gain its footing, Snyder Diamond entered the 1960s with a bang and established itself as one of the early pioneers of decorative products for the bath. With the first showroom to feature complete vignette-style displays of fully integrated styles and ideas, Snyder Diamond created a new experience for anyone seeking design. In-depth product knowledge and a dedicated sales staff also soon made it possible for the company to add interior designers and architects to their prior client base of plumbing professionals and homeowners.

Due to these notable successes, Snyder Diamond expanded its influence in the 1970s with the addition of two new stores in North Hollywood and Pasadena. Soon the company had created full service one-stop showrooms by adding cabinetry and appliances to its repertoire.
The 1980s took Snyder Diamond abroad, with regular visits to the ISH Fair in Frankfurt, Germany — the world’s leading trade fair for the bathroom experience. In its evolution as an industry leader for unique and trend-setting products, Snyder Diamond became the first American showroom to introduce and import European design, style, and quality in decorative faucets and accessories.
