S.F. Design Week Means Photo Booths, Panels, and Parties!

Power on your tablets because the 8th annual San Francisco Design Week is right around the corner!

S.F. Design Week kicks off June 21 and attracts the curiosities of design-savvy professionals, students, businesses, and hobbyists alike. The annual showcase of creativity connects 24,000 design professionals, aspiring design students, passionate non-profits, driven entrepreneurs, and close-knit local businesses, as well as the general public with one another.

The San Francisco chapter of AIGA, the oldest and largest membership association for design professionals, has organized a jam-packed week boasting with keynote speakers, panel discussions, studio tours, and exhibitions, all sandwiched between opening and closing receptions to celebrate the achievements of the city’s endlessly enchanting design community.

Our team at California Home + Design is pleased to announce that we are sponsoring the “Summer Solstice” opening reception, and it’s going to be absolutely off the hook. Swing on by the Autodesk Gallery for an evening of beer sampling from Anderson Valley Brewing Company, and indulge in wine tasting from Apothic Wine while mingling with the most talented visual artists in the city. The first 500 attendees get to enjoy S.F. Design Week swag bags filled with surprise goodies. While you soak up your creative surroundings on what happens to be the longest day of the year, be sure to check out Autodesk’s awesome interactive photo booth that experiments with creating 3D images.
