Five Lake Tahoe Beach House Rentals That’ll Make You Swoon

It’s been hot around here lately, and one of the best ways to remedy the sweat and lethargy is to be right on the water. It’s even better if the water is cold, clear, refreshing, and nine steps away. Lake Tahoe has a multitude of rental homes to choose from and many of them are just a few feet away from the blue lake. Some also have piers or buoys, so bring your boat or jetski.
Blue Paradise (Tahoe City, pictured above)
This lakefront home is right on Dollar Creek just north of Tahoe City. For $8,000 a week the house has an outdoor pool, a patio and deck, a boat dock and sleeps up to 14 people in its seven bedrooms. The home can be rented from FlipKey by TripAdvisor. If you are able to get the 14 people together, a week in paradise only comes to about $80 per person each night.
Cabin Rental (Kings Beach)
If you prefer a more rustic Tahoe atmosphere, check out this cabin for rent in Kings Beach. For between $350-500 a night the cabin is right on the beach with three bedrooms and one bath. The house is filled with mountain and lodge details like the prerequisite deer head above a stone fireplace, wood beams, and cowhide pillows. The cabin is available for rent on HomeAway.
