Giveaway! 8 Gorgeous Handpainted Coasters from Fireclay Tile
Author:Sarah Virginia WhiteWho wouldn’t toast the arrival of these Mexican- and Moroccan-inspired beauties on their tabletop? We certainly would, and are so thrilled to team up with San Jose-based Fireclay Tile to offer our readers this set of eight handpainted coasters.
Fireclay products are a house favorite around here, because the company is deeply rooted in craftsmanship and sustainability. These Cuerda Seca tiles—translated into coasters for us—are made using a custom wax resist technique and then handpainted with natural, lead-free glazes. Even the clay base is reclaimed—it’s made from recycles tiles.
I love the rich colors and bold patterns of the collection. The Old World techniques translate to a gorgeously luxe product, and I would play up the coasters’ tribal aesthetic with a dhurrie rug, some leather ottomans and a mix of warm wood tones.
Can’t get enough of these stunners? Submit your email by January 3 for a chance to win, but even readers who come up empty handed will have a reason to celebrate this spring, as Fireclay is opening its first San Francisco showroom in February. More details as we get them, but in the meantime, best of luck winning these fab freebies.
