Glimpse Inside Benji Madden’s Artistic, Masculine Pad
Author:Lindsey ShookWhen musician Benji Madden isn’t on tour, you can find him fine-tuning the interiors of his new 2-bed, 3-bath bungalow in Los Angeles. After past nightmarish renovations, the former Good Charlotte guitarist took matters into his own hands and gave the Nichols Canyon abode a total refresh. He called upon contractor Andres Ariza to help take out walls, install new oak floors, and replace plumbing. Madden swapped the dark, goth feel of his old home for a clean space sporting artistic accents with masculine edge. Madden is gearing up to launch The Madden Brothers with brother, Joel (the album is slated for a summer release!), so he’s thrilled that the house doesn’t require a whole lot of upkeep. Our friends at Domaine Home have the full scoop on this celeb’s sweet pad – oh, to have the lifestyle of the rich and the famous!

“I don’t really see myself as a designer,” Madden says, “but I know what I like and it’s very simple.” His taste may be simple, but the result is effortlessly beautiful. The slipcovered linen sofa and sheer curtains add light to the space and provide a clean canvas to show off the more unique pieces. We are loving the pyramid-legged coffee table atop a burnt sienna kilim rug.

A bath skylight streams in an abundant amount of light, and the rug echoes the colorful, textured additions found in the rest of the house. See full home tour over on Domaine Home!
