The Superb 8: Lawson-Fenning

Author:

Glenn Lawson and Grant Fenning founded the company in Pasadena, in 1997, and moved to LA’s Fairfax design district in 2000. In addition to a carefully curated antique furnture selection, the in-house line at offers a lovely selection of mid-century modern meets swanky vintage design.

Each piece in the collection is made in Southern Califonia, with sustainable woods, and all fabric can be custom upholstered for a truly unique piece. Here are our favorites:

1. With a low-slung and entirely elegant profile, the Douglas Sofa offers a modern take on a timeless design. $2,950

2. Oak and brass never looked so good. The Niguel Cabinet exterior is stunning, but what we love even more is that the lacquered interior is available in Brick and Cadet Blue, for an surprise splash of color. $4,055

3. Whether sleek leather or tufted velvet upholstery, the Thin Frame Lounge Chair, is one we could really sink into. $1,485

4. The Demi Lune Console proves that sometimes, two shelves are just better than one. $1,650

5. With a sturdy steel frame, teak slatted insert and lofty cushion on top, the indoor/outdoor Montrose Daybed is as verstaile as it is dreamy. $3,250

6. A nice balance of mixed materials, scale and shape keep the Puente Desk perfectly off-center. $2,475

7. The Carlo Brass Table Lamp might be low-profile, but its industrial-chic design really lights up a room. $445

8. We love the contrast of American walnut and chrome-plated steel in the Y-Leg Coffee Table. $2,450
