Fall Edition of Palm Springs Modernism Week Debuts
Author:Lindsey ShookAfter 14 successful years representing the best in Midcentury Modern and 20th Century Design, the highly anticipated Palm Springs Modernism Show & Sale will debut its first annual Fall Edition of the favored event at the Palm Springs Convention Center October 11 and 12, 2014.

“Since we launched the first Palm Springs Modernism Show in February 2001, interest and passion for mid-century modern design has increased so dramatically that the creation of a second show — as a featured event of Modernism Week’s fall preview — seemed a natural progression to meet the growing demand of collectors,” explained Rosemary Krieger, President of the show’s production company Dolphin Promotions.

Showcasing 45 premier national and international exhibits in room-like settings, the show will offer an eclectic collection of mid-century treasures including decorative and fine arts, furniture, jewelry, and more. A selection of dealers presenting include Gallery 925 of San Francisco, Christopher Anthony of Palm Springs, Planet Glass of Glendale, PCH Modern of Redondo Beach and Route 66 of Palm Springs. The fall show will also offer an opportunity to shop the collections of one-of-a-kind pieces of the 21st century from Titia Estes of Los Angeles and Heather Rosenman of Los Angeles. In addition, attendees will also have an exclusive opportunity to meet famed interior designer and star of Bravo’s Million Dollar Decorator, Kathryn M. Ireland, who will be celebrating the debut of her 5th book “Inspired By…” during a book signing on Saturday morning.
