Opening

The Goodland Hotel

Put your family up for the holidays. Kimpton Hotels’ new 158-room property in this Santa Barbara-adjacent locale has all the bohemian trappings of a proper SoCal surf town. Designed by LA firm Studio Collective, the interiors mix beaded macramé wall hangings and vibrant Mexican tiles with Mission-style architecture (think dark wood ceiling beams and hand-troweled white plaster walls). Deals can be had through December — save up to 20 percent on room rates and $30 off at the spa. And did we mention the complimentary happy hour with spiked agua frescas?

When: Through December

Where: The Goodland, 5650 Calle Real, Goleta
