Buy And Sell The Best Baby Goods At reCrib’s New LA Store

If there’s one thing new parents discover quickly, it’s that brand new baby gear adds up. Luckily, a veteran mom and dad duo figured out a workaround.

Michelle Lehmann and husband Daniel founded award-winning online marketplace reCrib in their New York home as a way for parents to buy the best, gently used designer baby brands at discount prices, and to sell the items they no longer need. Now the couple are bringing their business west and setting up shop in mid-century furniture warehouse, The Hunt, in LA’s Highland Park. The store will house all the designer brands loyal fans have come to love on the site—Netto, Oeuf, Bugaboo, Stokke, and more—and customers can swoop up cribs, strollers, high chairs, and endless other essentials at up to 50% off retail.

After launching reCrib in 2011, Michelle and Daniel quickly gained a cult following and garnered press coverage in The New York Times, Time Out NY, Daily Candy, and more. The site was even named “Best of New York” in New York Magazine, thanks to its supply of buzzed-about baby brands available at deep discounts.

Fans of the reCrib’s high-quality products and awesome mission will be in for an added treat when they visit the store in its brand new home. Formerly known as Vintage Apartment, The Hunt is home to owner Michael Glotzer’s impressive collection of coveted designer furniture, objects, and art from the ’60s, ’70s, and ’80s. Parents stopping by reCrib for a changing table might just walk out of The Hunt with a chic mid-century piece for the grown-ups’ room too.

Looking to sell some gently used baby items? Email or call (310) 383-8960. Bring your items to the shop yourself or arrange for the company to send a delivery service to pick up your merchandise. In addition to making your items available for purchase at the store, reCrib will also list the goods on its website. Once your item is sold, you’ll pocket 30% of the profits.
