Artists For MOCA: Highlights At The Gagosian Gallery In Beverly HillsAuthor:Philip Ferrato
A special preview exhibition of works donated by artists to benefit LA’s Museum of Contemporary Art is on view at the Gagosian Gallery until Saturday, a selection from the 35 pieces to be sold later this year at Sotheby’s in New York during the auction house’s Contemporary Art Sales on May 12-13, 2015.
Among the works by art world stars like Richard Serra, Takami Murakashi, and Catherine Opie is Ed Ruscha’s Good And Services (above) which is expected to bring between $600,000 and $800,000. Proceeds from the sale will go to the museum’s endowment fund.
