The 51st Pasadena Showcase House of Design is around the corner. The designers (this year there are 17 interior designers and 7 exterior ones) are putting the finishing touches on an eclectic English Tudor-Craftsman house. Built in 1910, the estate features not only a palatial main residence but a 2,400 square foot guest house that would make anyone feel right at home. To complement the two buildings, precious gardens are peppered throughout the property along with an inviting pool and outdoor kitchen.

And while the rooms are not completely finished—as of this week, pillows were still being fluffed, tables set, and decorative objects arranged in just that perfect way—we did want to give you a sneak peek without ruining the surprise.

As a Showcase teaser, we present to you the colors of Showcase. Every year, a new color palette is selected to reflect the latest trends and accentuate the home’s original architecture and surrounding landscape. This year, visitors will notice a neutral color scheme punctuated with tones of blues, greens, reds, violets, and plums. Through an exclusive partnership with Dunn-Edwards Paints, 26 colors were chosen as part of this year’s palette, including 11 colors that launched this year. In addition, luxury stone and tile company, Walker Zanger, provided tiles for many of the powder rooms, kitchens and baths, weaving in those beautiful neutral hues with pops of pattern. Guests can also can feed their design appetite with the new Jenn-Air appliances that are featured in the kitchen. Check out some of the Walker Zanger tiles below.

And to get you further into the Showcase spirit, we want to call out some eye-catching trends: wonderful wallcoverings, textured ceilings, exotic woods, luxurious textiles and elegant furnishings. The 2015 House promises to be a showstopper with designs for every tastefrom period looks to rustic modern interpretations and Oriental influences, this House is sure to inspire.
