It’s that time again: San Francisco Design Week is hitting the city this month, and this year’s annual celebration of all things design, fashion, and architecture, will take place June 4-12, kicking off with an opening reception at Pier 27.

Spanning the entire Bay Area from Silicon Valley to the city itself, the weeklong festivities will include 60 studio tours and 75 events featuring world-renowned designers, entrepreneurs, and thought leaders in the industry. Boasting one of the most expansive design week lineups in the world, the celebration will give attendees an inside look at what designers are currently creating and what’s in store for the future.Produced by AIGA SF, the professional association for design, SF Design Week will offer one-of-a-kind events across a variety of platforms. From the panel discussion called Starting Your Design Career to the Yahoo Monotype Design Meetup, attendees will have no shortage of must-see highlights to choose from. Pier 27 along the Embarcadero will also be transformed into SF Design Week HUB with WestEdge, offering an exhibition of contemporary design, hosting educational programming and seminars, interactive installations, special events, and even a technology and design panel moderated by us over here at California Home + Design.
