The Bookshelf: “Rooms For Living – A Style For Today With Things From The Past” By Suzanne Rheinstein

Author:

Suzanne Rheinstein, acclaimed interior designer from New Orleans launches her second book this fall entitled, “Rooms For Living: A Style For Today With Things From The Past.” Much in keeping with the design style that Rheinstein is known for, whether designing homes on both coasts or through her many fabric and furniture lines, there is a timeless elegance that is associated with her work.

Through this book, we are able to experience that vast array of experience through a collection of rooms thoughtfully categorized by the main areas of our homes. Rheinstein also offers numerous ideas and tips on how to make a statement with an entryway, dress a bed for ultimate comfort, display books and objects in understated ways, and create a unique party atmosphere. No detail, however small, is overlooked.

From the entry…

…to the living room.

And through to the outdoors.

“Living well everyday is much more important than getting your house together only for special occasions.” – S. Rheinstein

Hot off the press, with an October 2015 release date by Rizzoli, we’re excited to be able to share this new design book with you. These are real rooms for real living.
