Out On The Town: Alexandra von Furstenberg Celebrates Her LA Flagship Opening
Author:Lindsey ShookDesigner Alexandra von Furstenberg celebrated the opening of her Los Angeles flagship on Thursday, April 28th with a kick-off party followed by an intimate dinner at Il Piccolino. The always stylish furniture and accessories designer welcomed a crowd of notable names, including Nate Berkus, Monique Lhuillier, Gelila Assefa Puck and Shiva Rose to her brand new location at 300 N Robertson Blvd., in the heart of West Hollywood’s Design District. After opening her first Los Angeles store in 2008 on Melrose, von Furstenberg’s flagship is perched on prime property at the corner of Robertson and Beverly Blvd, amidst high pedestrian traffic and enviable retail neighbors. The 1,500 square-foot space is bright, welcoming and glowing with eye-popping displays thanks to an interior conceptualization from von Furstenberg’s husband, and frequent collaborator, Dax Miller.
