On July 27 we celebrated the 2016 Caesarstone Color Conversation & 2016 Designer Mix-Off hosted in partnership with Caeserstone, at 399 Freemont in San Francisco. Moderated by The Luxury Marketing Council of San Francisco‘s Alf Nucifora, the evening began with a dynamic conversation around how three industry leaders integrate color into both their work and life. Painter Eric Zener, who’s work is featured on the cover of our 2016 Summer issue, designer Jeff Schlarb of Green Couch Interiors and Design Critic/Deisgner Philip Wood provided key insights into the future of color in both art and design.

Following the coversation our 2016 Mix-Off competitors got to work on their cocktail recipes, all inspired by Caeserstone’s new collection. Competition was fierce as the new 2016 designer participants including Regan Baker, Catherine Macfee, George Brazil and Atonio Martins, were up to the challenge of taking the winning title from last year’s winner, Tineke Triggs. Inspired by Caeserstone’s new “Noble Gray” color, the 2016 winning cocktail was a refreshing take on the Caipirinha mixed by San Francisco based designer Antonio Martins. (recipe below)
