Waterworks Expands their San Francisco Showroom & Debuts Kitchen Line For Northern California
Author:Lindsey ShookLuxury kitchen and bath brand, Waterworks, has expanded its San Francisco showroom to a two-level, 8,000 square foot space in the heart of the Design District on Rhode Island Street, replacing their former Kansas Street location where they have served the Northern California region since 1998. The new space is three times the size of their former location, utilizing a strategic layout which provides clients with a more fluid shopping experience. Product offerings stretch across all of the Waterworks brands: Waterworks, Waterworks Studio, and for the first time in Northern California, Waterworks Kitchen.
The space includes a variety of curated, fully-realized vignettes that combine cabinetry, hardware, surfaces, fixtures and furnishings, as well as an inviting beverage bar for clients. In addition to Waterworks Kitchen, new product offerings will include the recently expanded hardware and lighting collections, the new digital shower system, as well as surfaces including Magma and new stones. The Waterworks team has even developed a new paint color specifically for the San Francisco showroom and client in mind: a gray, earthy tone called Whisper.
Co-Founded in 1978 by Barbara and Robert Sallick, the company has been run by their son and current CEO, Peter Sallick, since 1993. A big believer that each product has a story to tell, Waterworks prides itself on bringing customers impeccable style and artisanal quality craftsmanship to bathrooms and kitchens around the world. “Waterworks has been a part of the San Francisco design community for nearly 20 years,” Peter Sallick says, “we create Waterworks showrooms to inspire and stimulate our clients and encourage them to rethink design. Our goal is to create a space that embodies our San Francisco client, by incorporating the design personality and aesthetic of the region. This includes new designs that reflect a California lifestyle, with sophisticated styles of warm materials like wood and leather that can be used as accents in a range of scales.”
Waterworks is now located at 155 Rhode Island Street, San Francisco, CA 94103, (917) 847-0905. Store hours are 9am-5pm Monday-Friday, 11am-5pm Saturday and closed on Sundays.
