Last month, the annual San Francisco Fall Art and Antiques Show swept through the city’s Fort Mason and brought an impressive collection of eye-catching designs plus a festive Halloween spirit.
On Thursday, October 27, the First Annual ASID Vintage Costume Ball was held at the Historic General’s Residence in Fort Mason in the Presidio District of San Francisco.
Attendees including deigners, industry insiders, artisans, and exhibitors flocked to the Ball, hosted by ASID California North and its Board of Directors. The event was sponsored by Clive Christian, Cosentino, FLOR Carpet, Farrow and Ball, and Cambria, and the evening featured music by DJ Sol, Light Show by John Allbee, and wines by The Jug Shop.
Two days later, on October 29, the ASID California North Board of Directors was sworn in at the 2016 San Francisco Fall Art and Antiques Show’s “The Room With A View.” The event was sponsored and hosted by Clive Christian, Williams-Sonoma, Farrow & Ball, Cambria, and The Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture.
The New ASID Board of Directors includes: Cathleen Ann Gouveia (ASID California North President), Katherine Tincher (Communications Director), Christopher Shields (Membership Director); and Prospective Candidates: Alex Schinasi (Professional Development) and Linda Fairchild (Director-at-Large).
