The 2017 WestEdge Design Fair held at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica was once again a great success. The four-day fair featured dynamic design discussions, a bustling opening gala and an array of the world’s top brands showcasing their latest and greatest designs.

The Art of Investing in your Real Estate Panel

The first panel featuring; Barclay Butera of Barclay Butera Interiors, Chris Lowe of Domaen, James Algee of Carlisle Wide Plank Flooring, Justin Mandile- Senior Partner of Mercer Vine and Steven Cooper of Cooper Pacific Kitchens, centered around smart design and build investments for real estate in L.A. while the mid-day discussion gave insights on how to make the home more healthy by experts; Leslie Delli-Venneri, WELL Certified, ASID Sustainability Committee Member, Victoria + Albert Baths, Barry Cik, Technical Director, Founder & CEO of Naturepedic Organic Mattress Gallery and Sheli Nilsson Treeium Eco-Remodeling.

The final dicussion of the day celebrated the L.A. maker culture by hearing from local furniture and design producers: Alex Segal and Riley Rea of Croft House, Jamie Davis of Portola Paints, Meyghan Hill of Whorehaus Studio and Uri Davillier of Neptune Glassworks. Following the launch of DesignLIVE L.A. guests hurried in the doors for the opening night party to network and shop the innovative vendors present at the fair.
