Out on the Town: The So Cal NeoClassicists at Voila!
Author:Lindsey ShookOn Thursday November 9th, the So Cal Neoclassicists co-hosted a unique event with Voila! Creative Studios, a custom framing atelier that provides museum quality framing and hanging services for exhibitors such as Taschen Los Angeles and Sir Elton John & David Furnish Photography Collection.
During the evening, Katrien Van der Schueren of Voila! guided guests through the fine art of frame making, exploring the craftsmanship of this through the process of classical restoration and archival preservation from beginning to end. Each participant was also given the first-hand experience of framing their own personal artwork or image courtesy of Voila!
Hosted in Voila!’s framing studio/event space, guests enjoyed handmade crepes and delicious Tito’s Handmade Vodka ‘Big City Fall Fizz” cocktails & Duvel artisanal beer.
