Ligne Roset Opens New Showroom in San Francisco
Author:Lindsey ShookA new Ligne Roset showroom has opened in San Francisco, bringing it’s modern, high-style aesthetic to the city’s Design District. The French company’s newest outpost is at 150 De Haro Street, in the Showplace East building. The showroom’s owner, Claudine Aubonnet-Musarra, says that the 6,000-square-foot space is placed to appeal to both design professionals and design-minded consumers.

“The Bay Area is doing incredible things in architecture, on a micro and macro level,” she says. “Most people know we do furniture, but few understand the spectrum of our capabilities when it comes to customizing and providing great service for residential projects as well as hospitality and contract work. Opening the new showroom here will help us spread the word to the architecture and design community.” Aubonnet-Musarra notes that new location also has easy parking, a fact that makes it easily accessible to the general public.

Visitors to the new space will see new product, including Philippe Nigro’s latest upholstered collection, Manarola (look for his Ultime bed near the entrance). Aubonnet-Musarra has also brought Marie Christine Dorner’s Entreves night stand and dressers to the space, as well as sleek storage units and shelves by Dita. “I want to show that storage selection can be as exciting as picking out a new sofa,” she says. That’s not to say the classics are absent. You’ll find everything from Pierre Paulin designs to the iconic Togo sofas by Michel Ducaroy.
Visitors will find a mix of exciting new pieces and beloved favorites.
“This is a brand that constantly reinvents itself and always provides something exciting,” says Aubonnet-Musarra. “I have spent 20 years with this brand, and it’s been my dream to own a store in San Francisco.”
