2019 may seem far off in the future, but it’s already time to snatch up tickets for the FOG Design+Art’s Fair’s sixth edition, taking place at San Francisco’s Fort Mason Center for Arts and Culture, January 17-20. The legendary event celebrates the Bay Area’s creativity and community-based spirit with programs and presentations highlighting the world’s leading galleries, 20th-century design dealers, and more.

The 2019 fair will feature 53 galleries from around the globe, including representatives from Berlin, Stockholm, London, Mexico City, Paris, New York, Chicago, Los Angeles and San Francisco. This year’s roster will also include 12 first-time participants: Andrew Kreps Gallery, Anton Kern Gallery, Blain|Southern, Fergus McCaffrey, Galerie Perrotin, Hauser & Wirth, Karma, Modernity, neugerriemschneider, Petzel, Sarah Myerscough Gallery and Sprueth Magers.

FOG is renowned for its one-of-a-kind programming, and 2018’s event welcomed more than 12,000 visitors. The fair has earned a reputation for representing the West Coast design community’s pioneering spirit through a bold approach, intimate presentation, dynamic on-site, and a community-led mission to champion art and design. The fair’s Preview Gala on January 16 will continue its support of SFMOMA’s exhibitions and education programs, and attendees will enjoy early access to the fair’s array of design objects, furniture, and fine art before it opens to the public. On January 18, SFOMOMA’s Modern Art Council presents ArtBites, FOG’s annual event featuring a topical panel discussion and design-inspired breakfast.

FOG Design+Art takes place January 17-20, 2019 at Fort Mason Festival Pavilion, with a Preview Gala on January 16. To purchase tickets, visit https://fogfair.com/tickets/.
