Just a short stroll from the Santa Cruz beach boardwalk, the renovated 1963 property and recently revamped Jack O’Neill restaurant (named for the legendary surfer, wetsuit inventor, marine advocate, and Santa Cruz native), Dream Inn is a family-friendly destination with a refined new look. The hotel just completed a multi-million-dollar renovation complete with retro-surfer décor and upgrades to all 165 guest rooms and suites, as well as a makeover to the hotel lobby, pool area, and restaurant.

The property’s spring break offerings include a daily Street Taco Cart; Poolside Yoga; Kid’s Happy Hour featuring $6 Marianne ice cream bars; Bloody Mary & Mimosa Bar; Citywide Scavenger Hunt with maps and prizes; and a Family Sand Castle Contest hosted by professional sand sculpture company, Sand Guys. Guests can also enjoy city tours with “Slowboy,” a newly restored 1964 VW Bus. And for those seeking a particularly extremely memorable experience, families and groups can book Dream Inn’s new Iron Chef competition where teams cook against each other for the Iron Chef Title.
