Redmint Opens Second Urban Wellness Sanctuary in San Francisco

Author:

Known for it’s combination of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) offerings and holistic health rituals inspired by Eastern traditions, Redmint has already garnered a reputation as a San Francisco wellness haven. Now, the innovative brand founded by TCM practitioner and entrepreneur, Helina Fan, has opened a second location in addition to its Union Street flagship at 2044 Fillmore Street, and the space is a must-visit venue for those seeking a full-scale experience for the mind, body, and spirit.

Located in the former site of International Orange spa, Redmint features 5,000 square-feet of indoor and outdoor space, 10 private treatment rooms, and an herbal bar. Design elements include charred wood ceilings, dramatic hand-hewn beams, concrete counters, a mix of raw wood and steel doors, graffitied Oracle bone script, Chinese elm doors, and Redmint’s signature giant ghost wood center piece.

The space also includes touches of alabaster and calcite light fixtures, giant root vines, a rock crystal chandelier, rope lights, and a 19th century ironwood trough that functions as a long vessel sink. New to the Fillmore Street location is an expansive private event space including an indoor space and a large outdoor courtyard deck with twisting vines, foliage, and tumbleweed art.

The services at Redmint are designed to foster a mind-body connection and help alleviate everything from pain and inflammation to insomnia, stress, hormonal issues, and more. Services like Face Glow and Body Acupuncture help activate the body’s innate life force known as Qi while LED Lightstim Therapy addresses pain and tension relief. Other popular services include Sound + Deep Tissue Therapy which targets soreness and pain, and a Microcurrent Facial which uses gentle micro-current technology to tighten facial muscles. Redmint’s Herbal Bar serves up a variety of herbal lattes, shots, and teas as well.
