“Each of our properties starts from the same foundation: approachable luxury, strong narrative and a sense of neighborhood, but Hôtel Lili suggests something more luxurious, romantic and European in tone,” says Avi Brosh, founder of Palisociety. “It’s softer, more textural, and slightly more refined, while still maintaining the independent spirit that defines the Palisociety brand.” Beverly Hills’ newest sanctuary occupies a 20,000-square-foot classic mid-rise manor-style former residence that Palisociety thoughtfully reimagined with their signature layered and lush aesthetic.

In just four months of physical work, the property that was originally built in 1939 was reborn, though what emerged feels less like a renovation and more of a discovery of its new charm and character that was always waiting beneath the surface. “Like many older small hotels, the layout is straightforward but rigid,” Brosh remarks. “The challenge was introducing a sense of beauty, flow and intimacy within that structure, using materiality to create moments of discovery rather than just circulation.”

Layers like red velvet drapes, Versailles pattern wood parquet floors and chinoiserie-framed panels greet guests in the lobby and lounge with a sultry, glamorous glow. Formal drapery along with wall-to-wall carpet and a mix of traditional and contemporary furniture fill each guest suite, adding another layer of cozy elegance.

Each suite bathroom is lined with marble tile, chrome fixtures and Palisociety’s signature stripe motifs.

“The most significant feature is really the overall atmosphere, the way materials, texture and scale come together to create something truly beautiful and immersive,” Brosh proclaims. “This hotel offers a much more human-scale hotel experience than what’s typical in Beverly Hills, while at the same time not compromising on style or location.”
