2021 Design Awards: Primary Bath Design by FDG Design Group

WITH A GLOBAL PEDIGREE and experience in international hospitality design, Fatima Silva of FDG Design Group centers each project around the history and architecture of each space and region. Inside the 2020 San Francisco Decorator Showcase Silva transformed a primary bathroom into a luxurious, spa-like escape. “With this master bath, we created the ultimate personal retreat and a place for the head of the household to unwind and indulge at the end of the day,” she says.

Wrapped in slabs of marble from Da Vinci Marble, the exquisite stone, combined with exclusive high-tech lighting and bespoke art, including a cast bronze sculpture by Kevin Christison and hanging cast bronze birdhouse by Kevin Box, created modern elegance. She notes, “We strived to create a master bathroom that will last over time and that maintains a balance—timeless elegance.”
