Jae Omar’s Deconstructed Luxury Farmhouse, $12M

Author:

Clearly, we’re not in Kansas anymore, Toto. We’re deep in Brentwood, looking at the latest luxury farmhouse by celebrity designer, tastemaker and author Jae Omar and architect Eran Gispan, working their magic with stone, wood and white plaster to create an extraordinary place to call home.

“This property represents my signature contemporary farmhouse style, but with a deconstructed facade that was paired down to create a greater juxtaposition with the opulent and natural palette that runs throughout the interior.” – Jae Omar

Beyond the front door, a welcoming expanse of living and entertaining spaces center around a bar and a minimalist’s dream of a kitchen.

The Team: Concept, architectural design and landscape design by Jae Omar Design; architecture by Eran Gispan; General Contractor, JVE Development; staging by Project K Design for Vesta; art curation  by D2 Art.

The primary bedroom suite occupies much of the upper floor, with access to a terrace from both the bedroom and bath. Note the live edge detail on the sliding barn door, created from a single plank of old-growth fir.
