Heath LA, a California staple for selling goods of timeless design has teamed up with Artek, renowned maker of modern furniture, lighting and accessories to produce the Artek + Heath collection. The collection will debut this Saturday, March 23rd from 4-6 p.m. at Heath LA and feature a behind the scenes look and demos from clay studio director Tung while guests shop and enjoy the collection over bites and drinks.
The limited-edition collection keeps with the radical spirit of the founders of Artek, an innovative player in the world of modern design since 1935, and who together with Heath have over 150 years of designing and manufacturing experience. Developing new products at the intersection of art and technology, the collection will showcase distinctive furniture, vivid patterns, elegant forms and natural materials.
During the event, you will find Artek classics, such as the infamous Tea Trolley 900 with custom glazed tiles, the Alvar Aalto’s Stool 60 with silkscreened Universe top, the Universe Platter and the Stool 60 transformed into a three-piece nesting set, with varied heights, for varied functions.
