The 2020 Kitchen & Bath Contest
Author:Lindsey ShookIn celebration of our upcoming summer issue that will showcase remarkable kitchen and bath design, we are bringing back the Kitchen & Bath contest!
We invite all architects, builders, designers and developers to submit their most recent, and most amazing kitchen and bath designs, across the categories listed below. Our editorial team will select one winner per category to be featured in the 2020 summer issue, on stands and in homes May through September, as well as online.
Deadline for entry is Friday, April 10 2020, at 5pm PST.
CONTEST CATEGORIES:
-Master bathroom
-Powder room
-Indoor/Outdoor bathroom
-Large kitchen
-Small kitchen
-Indoor/Outdoor kitchen
-New product (this can include anything for the kitchen and bath ie. faucets, tiles, appliances, sinks, cabinets and more.)
ENTRY RULES:
1. Complete a payment for your submission (one per project, per category) via the Paypal payment form below, and take note of the email address you used to make the payment for your submission.
2. Create a Dropbox link to a master file containing the following items:
-A project brief that summarizes the project in 150 words or less. The brief must clearly state the single category you are entering in addition to your firm name and contact information.
-A list of all products and vendors used in the project.
-As many low-resolution images of the project being submitted (JPEG files should be 100 dpi at 5 by 7 inches). Two images of a product submission, is sufficient.
-The right to publish all submitted photography, cleared in writing with the photographer(s) by the entrant.
-A confirmation of the $100 processing payment to California Home+Design (a screen grab of the confirmation page or a transaction ID number is fine).
3. Email the link with the file (one email per project, per category) containing these items to submissions@chdmedia.com, using the same email address associated with the Paypal payment for your submissions.
ELIGIBILITY
- You MUST be a design professional working in California or the project must be in California if you work in another location.
- All submissions must be received between Sunday March 29, 2020 and Friday April 10, 2020, by 5pm PST. Required info as listed below is to be submitted to info@chdmedia.com.
- Projects that have previously been published in the print edition of California Home+Design are not eligible.

DEADLINE

- We will confirm receipt of submission via email within three business days.
- We will notify winners only in each category by April 15, 2020 and request high-resolution images or additional information as needed.
