Today, Embello launched their highly-anticipated second virtual showhouse—Living by Design—featuring the work of 12 top designers from across the country including author, design expert and Emmy-nominated TV host Bobby Berk, AD100 designer Brigette Romanek, Marie Flanigan, Will Taylor of Bright Bazaar, Dabito, Camille Styles, Paloma Contreras, Anne Sage, Carmeon Hamilton, Ariel Okin, Don Ricardo Massenburg and MA Allen.
Set digitally inside a classic Brentwood, CA home, the showhouse site features an interactive home tour experience that mimics a traditional showhouse event, allowing designers and enthusiasts to tour every space in detail. The crisp renderings created by 3D visualization experts at YouSee Studio.
“It is fascinating to see it all come together again for a second time,” says Embello CEO and showhouse founder, Laiza Cors. “Every space is so different and reflects the designers’ aesthetics flawlessly, yet each flows together harmoniously in this virtual environment. The outstanding expression we are able to show off in such a digital setting excites me—it’s thrilling to know so many people can access the house and shop these spaces on their own devices with a tap of a button.”
Unique to the digital showhouse concept is that guests can click to purchase items from partners used throughout each space, creating an innovative ecommerce opportunity for each brand while giving each designer creative space to run wild. Returning Living by Design Showhouse designer, Emmy-nominated TV host, Bobby Berk who designed the home’s great room, notes, “In the digital environment, we had the opportunity to not limit our creativity and approach the architectural design without any boundaries.”
“One of the luxuries of the Living by Design Showhouse is customizing even the smallest detail,” says Houston-based designer Marie Flanigan who inset a vintage hand-woven tapestry architectural paneling around the primary bedroom that would have been a design feat in real life. But she notes, “these elevated finishes make the space feel beautiful, unique and lifelike.”
Throughout the home, guests can shop the latest products from Living by Design partners including California Closets, Kohler, Ann Sacks, Dunn-Edwards, Minted, Lamps Plus, AHF and Summer Classics.
