With this expansion comes the announcement of the firm’s new Park City Studio Director Scott Kuehne—a seasoned architect whose 35-year career spans across the globe. Originally from Green Bay, Wisconsin, and educated at the University of Michigan, Kuehne launched his career in San Francisco in the early 1990s, later co-founding the acclaimed firm Suarez-Kuehne. Now leading the charge in Park City, Kuehne brings not only architectural mastery but a personal passion for mountain lifestyle due to his love of skiing, hiking and vintage car racing.

Known for a process that begins not with software, but with hand-rendered watercolor sketches, Kirley Architects approaches each project with intellect, curiosity and appreciation of the craft of building. Their work flourishes through early involvement, guiding clients from initial concepts to construction with precision, creativity, and care. The Park City studio will serve as a regional hub, supporting projects throughout Utah, Wyoming, Colorado, and Nevada. Projects in Lake Tahoe and Northern California will be serviced through Kirley’s main Marin/Bay Area office.
