Save the Date: The 2019 Children of Shelters Jingle & Mingle
Author:Lindsey ShookChildren of Shelters’ annual fundraiser, Jingle and Mingle, is set to be held on December 5, 2019 at 6:30PM at the General’s Residence in Fort Mason. The event will feature Chinoiserie influences highlighting the Chinese and East Asian artistic traditions including a variety of art pieces, food, cocktails and dancing. This party is considered one of the most festive fundraisers of the season, bringing out socialites, local celebrities and the fashionable set alike. All proceeds from the event will directly serve the needs of homeless children, providing them with educational and cultural experiences necessary to help them realize their potential and break the cycle of poverty.
This year’s silent art auction will feature exquisite panel pieces from de Gournay and artwork from Berggruen Gallery, Tineke Triggs, Artistic Designs for Living, Farell Beam, Grant K. Gibson Interior Design, Brooke Lydecker and General Public x RH. Sure, to not disappoint, the designers will aim to capture this season’s festive and whimsical spirit in a way that only San Francisco can.

Children of Shelters 18 annual children’s holiday party, SantaFest, will also be held over the weekend at the General’s Residence in Fort Mason on Saturday, December 7, 2019 from 9a-12n. Santa Fest officially kicks off the holiday season for hundreds of children, where they can happily decorate gingerbread houses, make holiday arts & crafts provided by Bay Area Discovery Museum and Polka Dot Party SF, take pictures with Santa, and enjoy treats provided by ACRE Gourmet, Eclipse Foods, & JANE
